    I began teaching Drama/English in 1990 at Westmoor HS in Daly City. After taking a year off to obtain my Masters Degree in Drama, I became the Drama director/teacher at Burlingame HS.  After a few years, I decided to move back up the Peninsula and started here at South City in 2006.  I have found my home!!

    Drama is my passion. I have acted, sung, danced or improvised on stages in Hawaii, New York and San Francisco for over 30 years. I found my passion for teaching in the South Bronx teaching improvisation to teens.

    In my English classes, I work to inspire students to find confidence and a voice in their writing and understanding of great literature.

   When I am not teaching or directing or thinking about both, I love to walk in the city, go to live theatre and play with my puppy.
